Wow!! On behalf of Harrington’s and Underwater Window Garden, thanks a million to everyone who came out to Harrington’s Autism Awareness Benefit Concert for Melmark! The show of support was overwhelming. We raised more money than anyone had anticipated. Thanks to the whole crew at Harr’s, Patty & Frank Waltemate, Tedman, Jimmy V (for cooking, singing, and doing our sound), all the businesses who donated to the raffle, the crew from Melmark who came out, everyone who helped promote the show, those who donated, and every single person who came out to party their asses off. Also, thanks to my sister Maddie for being the inspiration for this event, and my parents for their endless dedication to her and the rest of their kids. We love you! I especially want to thank DJ Franny Mac and his wife Jill for working so hard to make this night possible. They went above and beyond the call of duty.
The work that the people at Melmark are doing is so incredibly important. The occurrences of Autism are increasing at an alarming rate. For most of us it’s an issue that is very close to home. The donations mean a lot but the awareness is what really matters.
Thanks Melmark!!!! This night is just a small token of our appreciation.
Come out and support Autism Awareness on August 25th! Proceeds go to Melmark, a comprehensive multi-service agency, providing residential, educational, therapeutic and recreational services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Our little sister Madison was born 17 years ago with Down Syndrome and Autism and is doing so well thanks to Melmark. We are grateful and would like to show our appreciation by giving back a little.

Holy shit! Somehow Nick pulled together enough usable footage to put this interview together. And they even spelled our name right. They’re working miracles in the Backseat Bus. Thanks Street Team!
